Wednesday, April 23, 2014
Michelle Staudinger, Northeast Climate Science Center (NE CSC) Science Coordinator, will give a talk on May 6th at the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife "Brown Bag Lecture Series" on "Climate Impacts on Ecological Systems in the Northeastern United States".
This lecture will discuss the process and results of the technical workgroup on Biodiversity, Ecosystems, and Ecosystem Services that contributed to a recent (November 2013) Special Issue in Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment and the soon to be released 2014 National Climate Assessment. In addition, Michelle will provide an overview of the science priorities and activities of the NE CSC that seek to address regional challenges presented by climate change.
