The College of Menominee Nation's Sustainable Development Institute has engaged an undergraduate intern to assist with NE CSC-funded project, "Collaboration in Action: Using the Menominee Model of Sustainability to Assess, Plan, and Build Capactiy for Tribal Communities
to Address Climate Change in the Northeast Climate Science Center Region". Larry P. Madden is an enrolled member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans and currently resides on the Mohecunnuck reservation in Bowler, Wisconsin. Currently, he is attending the College of Menominee Nation pursuing a dual degree in Humanities and Sustainable Development. He is very interested in climate change issues and the challenges they present for future generations. Madden says the opportunity to participate in a meaningful academic exchange of ideas excites him and he is proud to be the newest member of the Sustainable Development team.
