Research Interests

Anna LoPresti's current research involves synthesizing climate adaptation actions across the Northeastern US, with a particular focus on coastal community adaptation and managed retreat. As Sustained Assessment Specialist at Columbia, she works to conduct participatory climate assessments and provide decision support for state agencies, water utilities, and other climate information users in the urban corridor from Philadelphia to Boston. Her research interests include ecosystem-based adaptation, community-based monitoring and evaluation of adaptation, environmental justice, and large landscape conservation & connectivity.
