Research Interests

My research experience has included evaluating demographic and distributional responses of birds to habitat management, landscape composition, and extreme observed climate conditions. I have used niche-modeling to examine range shifts of eastern forest songbirds during historical droughts.  Currently I am studying demographic and resource selection responses of northern bobwhite to habitat management strategies and landscape context.  I am interested in applied conservation research and the interactive effects of climate and land use on full annual cycle population dynamics.
