California has always faced challenges with managing water. Climate warming and sea level rise bring new challenges to the management of California’s water system for environmental, water supply, flood, and hydropower management. This talk reviews these challenges and discusses opportunities for their management from engineering, social, and economic perspectives. California and California water management will continue to change. But with proper management, it can largely prosper.
